An invitation link that will not work EN

Expired, revoked, already used, or opened while you were signed in as someone else.

A workspace invitation email contains a link that lets you join that workspace once you accept it. If opening it doesn't take you straight into the workspace, the page tells you why instead - match its heading to a section below.

"Invitation not available"

This heading covers three different reasons, shown as different messages on the same page:

"This invitation has been revoked." - An owner or admin withdrew it before you accepted. Ask them to send a new one.
"You declined this invitation. Ask [name] to invite you again." - Declining is final: the same link can't be accepted afterward, even if you change your mind. Ask the person named on the page, or the workspace owner, to invite you again.
"This invitation has expired or is no longer valid." - Invitation links stop working 14 days after they're sent. This also appears if the workspace itself was deleted, or if the invitation's status doesn't match any of the other messages.

In every case, only a new invitation from the workspace will get you in - reopening the old link won't.

"Invitation already used"

The page says "This invitation has already been accepted." Invitations are single-use: once one has been accepted, whether by you or someone else who had access to the link, it can't be used again. If you're already a member of the workspace, go to your dashboard. If you're not sure, ask whoever invited you to check your membership or send a fresh invitation.

"Wrong account"

This page reads "This invitation was sent to [invited address], but you are signed in as [your address]." Rekorder checks the invitation's email against the account you're currently signed in with, not just against the browser or device.

Select Log out and switch account, then sign in with the exact email address the invitation was sent to. If you don't have an account with that address yet, signing in with it from the invitation page creates one.

Only the newest link works

If a workspace owner or admin resends your invitation, the new email replaces the old one - the previous link stops working immediately, even if it hasn't reached 14 days yet. Always use the link from the most recent invitation email you received.

Get a working invitation

Ask a workspace owner or admin to resend the invitation, or send a new one to your email address.
Open the newest invitation email and select the link inside it.
Sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to - using Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Apple, or by email, depending on how that address normally signs in.
