Which pages Chrome will not let any extension touch, and what to do instead.
"The current tab is a protected tab" means Chrome itself is blocking Rekorder (or any extension) from adding anything on top of the page you have open. It isn't a Rekorder limitation you can turn off - it's a restriction Chrome applies to protect certain pages from any extension.
Chrome blocks extensions from injecting content into:
chrome://settings, chrome://extensions, and the new tab pageedge:// pages or about: pagesview-source:)chrome-extension://)Regular http:// and https:// websites, and local file:// pages, are not protected.
Rekorder still lets you record a protected tab - it doesn't block the recording. What changes is the overlay:
Rekorder's popup shows a warning icon (⚠) in the top bar whenever the tab you currently have open is protected, so you know before you start. It appears regardless of which recording mode is selected, since it's a property of that tab.
http(s):// or local page before you start recording.https:// pages block injected content through their own security policy even though Chrome doesn't treat them as protected. Rekorder falls back the same way - compositing the camera and bringing the recorder tab forward - but the popup can't predict this in advance, so no warning is shown beforehand.Nous vous enverrons un lien de connexion par e-mail, sans mot de passe.
