Can I embed a recording somewhere else? EN

No. You can't embed a Rekorder recording inside another website or app, and you can't use its video file as a direct link. What you can do is share the link, which opens the recording on Rekorder.

What doesn't work

• Embedding the video page. Rekorder pages can only be shown on Rekorder's own site. If you paste a share link into an embed or iframe block on another site, for example in Notion or on your own web page, that site can't display the recording.
• Using the video as a direct file link. A recording link isn't a plain link to a video file. Rekorder checks who's watching before it sends the video, so the video can't be hotlinked into another page or player. See Why a recording link is not a direct file link.

Rekorder also doesn't offer an embed code that you can copy.

What you can do instead

• Share the link. Paste it wherever people can click it, such as a document, a chat message, a ticket or a Notion page. Viewers watch on Rekorder. Make sure the recording's access level lets them in. See Share a recording and Private, specific people, or anyone with the link.
• Upload the file elsewhere. If you need the video itself on another platform, download your own recording and upload it there. Viewers can only download it if you've allowed that. See Download your own recording and Stop viewers downloading, or hide the transcript.
