Off, on move, on click, or both.

Pointer highlight makes your mouse easy to follow in a recording. It can show a glow around the pointer when it moves, a ring when you click, or both.

Choose a highlight style

Click the Rekorder icon in your toolbar to open the popup.
Click the Settings icon.
On the General tab, open Pointer highlight.
Pick one of the options below.

Option	What it does
No highlighting	Nothing is added around your pointer or clicks. This is the default.
On move	A yellow glow follows the pointer while you move it.
On click	A red circle appears where you click.
On move & click	Both of the above.

Your choice is saved and used for your next recordings. Set it before you start. It isn't applied to a recording that's already running.

Pointer highlight is available on every plan.

What you'll see in the recording

On move: the yellow glow fades out a moment after you stop moving the mouse, so it doesn't sit over your content.
On click: the red circle appears at the click and fades away almost at once.
The highlight is not drawn over the camera bubble or the recording controls, and clicks on Rekorder's own controls don't get a click circle.

When the highlight doesn't appear

The highlight is drawn on the page you're recording, together with the camera bubble and the recording controls. It only works when you record a tab and the Interface setting is UI in tab. See "UI in tab" vs "Only in preview tab".

If you set Interface to Only in preview tab, no highlight is added.
If you record a window or your whole screen, no highlight is added.
Some pages can't be modified by the extension, such as browser-internal pages and the Chrome Web Store. Rekorder can't add a highlight there. See "The current tab is a protected tab".
