Check the workspace it was recorded into before assuming it is gone.
A recording that seems to have vanished almost always still exists — it's usually just recorded into, or filed under, a place you're not currently looking at. Work through these checks in order before assuming it's gone.
The extension records into a record target workspace, which can be different from the workspace you're currently browsing on the website. If your record target was set to a team workspace, the recording won't show up while you're browsing your personal workspace, even though nothing is actually missing.
See The workspace you are browsing vs the one you record into and Set where your next recording lands for more on how this works.
The default library view only shows your own, non-archived recordings at the workspace root. A recording can be out of sight because:
A recording can briefly disappear from view between when you stop recording and when it finishes uploading and processing. Wait a minute and refresh the page. If it still doesn't show up, see What happens between stopping and the video being ready and It has been "processing" for a long time.
A very short or empty recording — for example, one stopped right after it started — may never have been saved as a real recording in the first place. See Why an empty recording disappeared from your library.
