Deletion is permanent. Archive is the reversible option.
No. When you delete a recording, it's gone for good. Rekorder can't bring it back, and neither can support. If you want a way to put a recording away without losing it, archive it instead.
Rekorder asks you to confirm first. The message says the recording will be permanently deleted and that this can't be undone. Once you confirm, the recording is deleted straight away:
There's no trash or recycle bin, so there's nothing to restore it from.
If you saved a copy to Google Drive, that copy stays in Drive. Deleting the recording in Rekorder doesn't remove it.
Only the person who owns a recording can delete it. Removing a recording from your "Shared with me" list doesn't delete it for the owner.
Archiving hides a recording from your Library without deleting anything. You can bring it back whenever you like.
To archive several recordings at once, select them and choose Archive from the bar that appears. See Select several recordings and act on them at once.
The recording returns to your Library.
Archived recordings are marked with an archive badge. Archiving doesn't free up storage. Only deleting does.
