What has to be turned off first, where to do it, and what becomes of time you have paid for.
The Delete my account… button in Settings → Deletion stays disabled while any workspace you own has a Pro subscription that will renew. Rekorder won't delete an account and leave a subscription charging you for it. To unlock the button, turn off auto-renew for each of those workspaces. You can then delete your account straight away. You don't have to wait for the paid period to end.
When something is in the way, a notice above the button says Turn off auto-renew first and lists each workspace that is holding it up, for example "Acme renews on Oct 3, 2026." Under the list, the page says Turn off auto-renew above to continue.
Only workspaces you own count. A Pro subscription on a workspace where you are just a member or admin doesn't block you.
Do this for each workspace in the list:
Cancelling renewal is permanent, and you can't resume a cancelled subscription. To get Pro back, you would have to subscribe again. For the full details, see Cancel a subscription, and what you keep.
When you cancel renewal, the workspace keeps Pro until the end of the period you paid for. If you then delete your account, that remaining time is lost, and you don't get a refund. The Deletion page shows this for each affected workspace, for example: "Acme has Pro until Oct 3, 2026. The time left is lost, with no refund."
If you want to use the rest of your paid time, cancel renewal now and delete your account after Pro ends.
Before you delete, download any invoices you need. After your account is deleted, you can't get them from Rekorder any more. See Find and download your invoices.
